Have you ever dreamed of going to the Bahamas. I have. I still am. My daughters got to go about 17 months ago and so I thought I would show you the island of Nassau through my youngest daughter's lens. I know many people are having to do staycations rather than vacations because of the economic times so I thought you might enjoy going there through beautiful pictures like I do. Maybe someday . . .
This isn't the picture I would have imagined but I know there is much poverty in even the most beautiful of places.
Have you ever noticed how in some places you can paint any color and it looks great on houses but then other places like my neighborhood you wouldn't dare.
I think my daughter might have a bit of artist in her despite what she thinks. Her angles were pretty good in this picture.
Nassau must be a great place if they even paint their overpasses my favorite color.

I can almost hear the ocean and feel the breeze! Great photos. Happy 4th of July weekend!
I'm a new follower. I did enjoy these beautiful photos. We are one of the staycation people of whom you speak. Our vacation to Maine to visit our daughter and new son-in-law got shelved with a cut back. We're thankful we still have a job; but I would have loved the trip.Your daughter has a good eye for photography.
Lovely pics, great colors. Wish I could have gone to see it myself - this is second best, however! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting these gorgeous pictures. They are just what I needed today. It's been raining here for a month now with only a few breaks in the rain for sun. I haven't seen the ocean in 17 yrs. so these pics have lifted my spirit! Have a safe and happy 4th! Hugs, Loretta ps your daughter is quite the photographer.
