This week I am sharing some pictures taken by my daughter at the new Ballpark In Arlington. This is a brand new ballpark stadium where the Texas Rangers Baseball Team plays. Baseball is one of my very favorite sports to watch. I am not the kind of fan that doesn't miss a ballgame I am the kind of fan that just enjoys a good ballgame. My dear hubby and my children absolutely love watching sports of any kind on t.v. as well as at the actual field or court. I personally prefer to be at the actual ballgame. I enjoy a good baseball game no matter who the team is.

Those who are there through thick and thin are the ones who are my true friends. This kind of friend is not common. It isn't really hard to be this kind of friend it just takes commitment and sometimes lots of forgiveness and grace. Most of my closest friends have done things at one time or another to anger me or hurt my feelings but I decided to not let that end our friendship. It is the same in any relationship. It is simply being committed to not giving up.

This is not painless. Many times there is much pain, but I have found that later after it is resolved and forgiveness has been given then these very trying times and then the happier times together help to make that bond of friendship and love even stronger.

I am not talking about a relationship where one is abused or used but instead a relationship where each person has give and take. It isn't a perfect relationship because that does not exist. It is a good relationship though because it can survive the ups and the downs.
I would also like to encourage you to go to a ballgame every once in a while. Not just because a team is winning (although that is fun) but just for the fun of being at a ballgame.
It doesn't have to be a professional ballgame (although that is fun too)
At professional ballgames I find myself watching the crowd as much or more than the ballgame. There is so much going on all around you that it is almost impossible to be bored.

Great pictures. This really is a beautiful ballpark. I love seeing baseball games in person, not so much on TV. But I will be glued to the set tonight - Hook Em! Kathy
