When It Has Been One Of Those Weeks

It has been one of those weeks for me when everything seemed to conspire against me; at least when it came to my health anyway. I had a horrible week with so many things happening to me that it almost became unbelievable and even laughable. It did happen though and it really stressed me out. I was in need of some stress relief. A vacation or spa would have been really nice but just wasn't possible so I went to one of my very favorite places right here in town. It is a greenhouse called The Feed And Seed Barn. It is owned by a good friend of mine called James. If you visit my garden blog then you will already know about this place. I know I talk about it a lot, but, it is just such a cool place to have right here in my own little town that I just have to shout it to the world.

I am a gardener, and artist and I just love plants, and flowers. I love all kinds and colors of plants and flowers. James stocks so many different kinds that I never get bored when I visit and I am always finding a new idea or plant, or product there. It is the kind of place where I just feel good when I am there and I can always count on being greeted with a friendly smile by everybody there.
James has started a new blog and I thought you might like to take a peek at all the cool things they do at their place. Drop in and say hi to James, you can find his blog by clicking here

There is another place that I would like to show you. It is Turner Falls State Park in the Arbuckle Mountain area near Davis, Oklahoma. I am showing you this place because it really makes me smile fondly when I remember it. Smiling really helps to relieve stress. It is a fact that laughter has been proven medically to be beneficial. I try to practice laughing often. I hope you do too. Turner Falls, is a really cool place to laugh and to cool off. It is a natural formation of streams and water falls that cover a huge area and it is great fun. It doesn't cost a lot to get in and it is very beautiful.

It is a great place to take the family for sun, fun, and laughter

The day we went it was really packed with people because it was on a Saturday. I would definitely recommend going during the weekdays
These people looked like they were having so much fun I just couldn't resist snapping some pictures

When you go to the look out point above the main falls the views are breathtaking.

I have never seen so many kinds of waterfalls in one place before.

I hope to return here one day. Are you having one of those weeks where you need some stress relief? I recommend beautiful places, laughter, and good old fashioned fun.
Until Next Time

Hi Debbie,
Sorry you had such a tough week. We all have them occasionally. The Lord knew what he was doing when he designed flowers. You can't look at them and not be happy. That water park is amazing. I don't swim but just watching everyone having such a good time would be fun. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Loretta

Hi. I saw your blog mentioned on "Ladybug From Texas's" blog. She said you had some great photos. I have a photoblog too and I love looking at other photoblogs, so I popped over to have a look. I am going to follow your blog if you don't mind.

Sorry to hear about your bad week. What is it about this time? I've just had an awful week and am looking forward to getting out among plants to take my mind off it. You were very wise to use the healing power of plants.
