I wanted to share a bit more of the Route 66 Museum in Elk City, Oklahoma. I want to assure you that I am only sharing a small part of the museum with you. I am not going to do a lot of talking this time because I think it may be a bit more enjoyable this time to just enjoy the pictures and remember . . .

Those are really great photos - I miss the commentaries, however! Fun looking - wish I could see it all in person. It is cool that they have such places to visit. Tourist Traps? Maybe, but ever so enjoyable!
I have so many great childhood memories of Route 66.

How fun!
Hi Debbie,
This looks like something my husband and son would love! Maybe someday we will have the chance to visit the museum too. Hugs, Loretta
Fun to look at and a reminder of the trip we did to US in 2001 which took in part of Route 66.
A x
We took the trip out route 66 when I was a little girl. It was so much fun! Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories
What great pictures! This looks like a really neat museum. What great memories, it's nice that they saved so much of the memorabilia. Thanks for sharing this. Kathy
Thanks for the museum photos. We make it a habit to travel as much of Route 66 as we can between hear and southern California on trips back to my home town, but we usually don't go north to Oklahoma--just head out west. These inspire me to maybe change the scenario a bit. Thanks. Even though I'm something of an exile, I've lived in Texas for a total of about 40 years, so I can understand (to some extent, anyway), your affection.
Those are cool photos! Maybe someday, we'll have sometime to do a drive down Route66 like you and experience the same magic...
