I would like to share with you one of my very favorite places to visit. If I am anywhere within 100 miles of this place I make an effort to stop by here. Wildseed Wildflower Farm is a gardener's paradise. They have beautiful display beds, they sell wildflower seed, they have a huge gift store, they sell live plants and garden ornaments and fixtures. There is even a snack bar where you can eat the very best soft serve peach ice cream ever. There is always something in bloom and I haven't found a bad time to visit. They even have friendly felines all around the place inside and outside.
whether you are in
side or outside.

This is one of those places where it just feels good to be here

Girl, I could get so lost there and enjoy every minute. What a beautiful place! Seriously I could see myself spending hours there. Thanks for sharing the farm with us.
I really enjoyed the virtual tour, as I buy seed from Wildseed Farms every year. Some of my favorites.....Laura Bush petunia, Baby Blue eyes, Bird's Eye Gilia, and Mountain Garland. I am trying several new (to me) varieties this year, as well.
It has been many years since I was there. I use to go there for the herbs when I lived in New Braunfels. Now I live in Tyler, and my special place is Blue Moon Gardens in Edom.

What an awesome place to just go hang out. I could be there for hours. In fact when I go to large nurseries I usually am there forever. I enjoy your blog very much. Gardening is my passion. I just started blogging but I haven't posted any about the garden yet. But soon.
Maybe I'll see you there.
Hi Debbie, when I first looked at the photos I thought it was your own garden! It is so gorgeous...the gardens are so uplifting. Makes me want to have them in my yard this very minute! I'm so impatient for the spring to really be SPRING, instead of playing games with us! It's in the 70's one day, and the 30's and 40's the next!! I know it'll calm down soon--but your post really cheered me up today!!! Thanks!!
You haven't joined Blotanical, have you? I was looking for you there so I could give you a 'FAVE' but couldn't find you in the directory. Just wanted to be sure I didn't miss you...
Be sure to tell all the husbands that this isn't such bad little road trip. You can sit in a nicely shaded area, drink ice tea, eat tons of home made peach ice cream, sample all of the specialty jellies and salsas and still have time to pray that your wife leaves enough room on the credit card for gas money to get home!!!! LOL...XO's Debbie's husband
Sounds like my kinda place! OH...I also love a good peach icecream!
Thanks for sharing your photos. I loved seeing the nursery!!!(-: I would love to have that big windmill(-:
hey Debbie thanks for stopping by.
I am in awe of your blog I will be hang out for a while...lol
hope you don't mind.. : }
hugs, Cherry
Ah, if only my garden looked like that! Beautiful beds- I love the plants that I've seen on my visits to TX. Some of the ones I really love would never do well here, but I can enjoy them at my sisters. There is one tree that I remember seeing last year- I couldn't find out the name for it. I was there last year in late August.
This is what I call a Nursery. It looks fantastic. I love to visit interesting Nurseries. It is also very tempting to buy some of the beautiful merchandise besides the plants. Thank you for your comment.
Debbie, Thanks so much for coming to grannymountain for a visit! I love this post. We lived near New Braunfels Texas for 5 years and used to go to a great nursery at Shertz. And I still am longing for all those good places to go eat! Come visit often
I have just recently discovered Wildflowers Farm (by mail though). It looks amazing! It reminds me a place we have near here...Petals From The Past. I make several trips a year to Petals and always return completely inspired!
