No Fooling A Giveaway Again!!!

It must be my usual springtime funk but I have been a bit out of it lately. Could you tell? I go through this every year. I think it must be because there are so many beautiful spring days and I want to go outside and work in the garden but life seems to get crazy about this time with my son's baseball games and track meets and all the end of the school year activities along with finishing up any inside projects that I started during the winter, and then you add in all the everyday have to's and top it off with the sudden horrible cold yucky weather when I do plan a free day to work outside and it all adds up to my springtime funk. What does this mean? It means I get a bad case of the "I don't want to's" Do you ever get that way? I promise it will be over quickly. Once I get to go outside a bit and stick my hands in the dirt and move all that winter debris out so I can see what is coming up then I inhale that wonderful springtime air and my world is made new. It seems to revitalize me clear down to my toes. Suddenly I will have the energy of 10 people and get more done than I ever imagined possible. In the anticipation of that day which hopefully will be here soon I want to have another giveaway.

I am giving away this beautiful vintage advertisement from a vintage magazine (don't know which magazine) The best news is that you get 2 in 1 because the back and the front have very cool advertisements. I can not decide which is better and it frustrated me to try and decide which one to frame so I needed to shed some of the excess frustration so I thought I would pass it along to one of you. (In a good way of course)

All that is required of you is to leave a comment below this post. If you would like 5 more entries just give me a little advertisement either in a post or in your sidebar. (be sure to let me know in your comment) Please feel free to grab a picture if you like for it. I will be drawing the winner of this giveaway on Monday, April 6, 2009.
Until Next Time

I have already framed one of these Nashau Woolnap Blanket advertisement, the one I have is black and pink this would be beautiful hanging next to it. How ever the other side of the ad is also beautiful, I could make a copy of it and use both. That is if I were to win..
I will add you to my side bar..

Thank You

Oh how wonderful! Few years ago I helped my cabinetmaker hubby put a floor in a friend's attic. Early 1900's Victorian rowhouse in Denver, CO...and oh the lovely things we found used as insulation up there. I spent the entire afternoon (after helping hubby get the wood into the attic of course, reading the old, OLD advertisements that the owners had used for insulation, reading the old newspapers...The Rocky Mountain News used to put the society stuff on the front page! And Silk stockings for a quarter!

And I'll be posting about this on my blog for you.

I get the "I don't want to's" like a big baby sometimes. Right now I don't want it to get cold any more. I don't want to work in the house I want to be in the yard. :) Oh well.

It's very sweet of you to have a give away. I do enjoy all of your blogs.

I'll try this again. Hopefully I haven't posted twice. I'm not sure which side I would frame either. Both ads are cute.

I am simply drooling over your blog give away .
What a sweet thing to do.
The blog is so wonderful.
I too get those spring time blues and then suddenly they fly out the door and I am off and running again . It is sometimes as simple as a bird nesting in a hanging basket or a new flower in bloom or being able to finally put away sweaters and things for real.
Blessings to you on your wonderful site .I will try to post it on my blog too.
I am new to the whole computer, blog thing but I am learning lots of new fun stuff .
Happy Easter Week.
