Wow! What Happened?

Wow What Happened!

I was blogging along really great and then things started happening.  I began to blog a little less and then more things started to happen.  Before I knew it, I wasn't blogging at all and didn't know when I was going to blog again.  I didn't burn out on blogging at all.  I have simply been so pulled in so many directions that there simply was not enough of me to go around.

Between grand babies, children, parents, friends, deaths, illnesses,  surgeries, weddings, bootcamp graduations, constant visitors, travel and more, there just wasn't enough energy or time for me to blog.

There also has been no time for me to take care of my garden.  You would be shocked at the state it is in.  I know I am shocked when I look out the window at it. (Shaking my head).

The past 6 months has been one of the most frustrating times of my life.  I have found myself in the position of having to sacrifice what I want for the needs of others.  I don't begrudge my loved ones my time but it has been hard to see my blog, my garden, my home and my other projects suffer from lack of attention.

I keep hoping that things will slow down but it just hasn't happened like I had hoped.  I did finally get a bit of a breath this past weekend.  I hope that all of my friends out there in blog land will be patient with me and give me grace.  I do want to continue blogging and I am hoping things will get better this fall.  In the meantime, please know that I love you and I will try to do better about keeping in touch and getting back to blogging on a regular basis again as soon as I can.

On a funny note:  Be advised that flies do not like lemon essential oil mixed with water sprayed on them.  They clear out in seconds.  With that thought in mind, be advised that chickens do not like it either.  I found this out the hard way. LOL.

Dear Debra ~ In all that is going on in your life, may you feel God's peace, love and strength.

My life is going to be hectic for the next 35 days, and I will have to find my groove. :-)

Have a great week and I look forward to you blogging again when you can.

Try not to stress, do what you can, and enjoy life.

Love & hugs ~ FlowerLady
