I'm Thankful Today...Really I Am

I am thankful...really I am even though I am in a super long Starbucks line

I am thankful this Thanksgiving day (also my birthday)...really, I am.  I have so much to be thankful for...even though that Starbucks line was the longest I have ever seen (and me with a headache), it moved super fast and I had my coffee to help take my headache away in only a short bit of time.

I am thankful today...really, I am even though baby Z is mad at me

I am thankful today...really, I am...Even though Baby Z was mad at me for holding her down and giving her medicine...it only took half the day for her to forgive me and give me hugs again. She also rewarded me with many laughs in the mean time.  She can be quite the character sometimes.  She wore her top pulled over her head and just her arms in the sleeves most of the day...that was definitely funny.

I am thankful today...really I am even though my oldest kids can't be home for Thanksgiving.

I am thankful today...really, I am...even though my oldest kids can't be here with us today on Thanksgiving and my Birthday...I am thankful because we found out that my new grandbaby is a baby boy.  We are so excited to welcome Barrett Michael to the world sometime in April.  Oh what fun we will have.  Baby Z and Baby B...cousins with their Gigi!

I am thankful today...really, I am...because I love the Lord and He loves me.  I am thankful today and everyday...really, I am...because you see, there is always always always something to be thankful about no matter what circumstance I am in, even when they seem dire...all it takes is looking again to see what I can see...those things that make me thankful always show themselves to me.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
