Mountain Water Gardens `

There were some water gardens on the Angel Fire Garden Tour this year that I thought you might like to see.  Water gardening is alive and well in the mountain gardens and they had some beautiful examples.

This water feature did not have plants but it did add a beautiful water sound to their garden as well as being beautiful to look at.  I loved how the owner used glass orbs to add sparkle and color to her water feature

The same homeowner had this lovely little water container with water plants.  This is a water garden that can fit into any size garden and it's beauty packs a punch of color and texture in a small space.  It's small size makes it easy to take care of too.

I saved my favorite for last.  This water feature is located at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial near Angel Fire, New Mexico.  There were no plants in the water but there were beautiful plants all around it in pocket gardens.  This water feature added the beautiful sound of water as well as visual appeal.

Water gardens are a great way to invite birds and other creatures to your garden.  Many evenings we enjoy watching the birds get a drink from our own pond and waterfall.

I love having a water feature in my own garden and some of these have given me ideas for even more water features in my own garden.  I have already purchased the materials and have plans for a new feature in my aviary.  Hopefully soon I can share it with you.

I love water features! These are nice. I used to have a pond in my back yard with a fish and a water lily. I would love to see your pond and waterfall!

I love that last water garden too! It looks lovely and soothing.

I'd like to add a small water feature to my own gardens. The sound is relaxing and refreshing.

Have a wonderful weekend ~ FlowerLady
