I have a funny story about this recipe...my son in law loves spaghetti. My daughter wanted to make spaghetti for his birthday and she wanted it to be special. She found an old fashioned Italian spaghetti recipe that took her all day to make. It didn't turn out too good. He tried so hard not to hurt her feelings but she knew. Later that same week they came to my house (I didn't know about the spaghetti fiasco). Guess what I was serving? You guessed it...spaghetti. I made my old tried and true recipe and he went back for seconds. It didn't take my daughter long to ask me how I made my spaghetti. When I told her, a look of utter disgust crossed her face and she was visually upset. She explained, I spent an entire day making spaghetti the old fashioned way and it turned out terrible and I could have used your recipe and saved a lot of time and had it taste great. I do believe she makes her spaghetti my way now (mama always knows best...teehee)
