Iced Tea Punch

Iced Tea Punch
I have had several people ask about my recipe for the Iced Tea punch I serve at my Christmas party every year and so I decided to post the recipe here.  It won't break your budget (in fact it is quite frugal for a punch) and it is a really refreshing punch that tastes great no matter what kind of food it is served with (even cake).  We served it at my younger daughter's wedding and we had people lined up for more of "that great punch".  I made about 1 1/2 gallons in this container so I will give you the measurements for that:

Iced Tea Punch
1 1/2 C Lipton Iced Tea Mix
2 2 Liter Bottles Ginger Ale
Ice
This is the Lemon flavored Iced Tea Mix that I used.
I  add the tea mix to the container then pour the ginger ale on top
Be ready because it will foam up alot!  I stir this really well with a long handled spoon.
Iced Tea Punch
I keep adding more ginger ale and stirring and one important step is to add plenty of ice (don't leave this part out!). This will cause the foam to settle down and helps the mixture to be right. It also cools the punch just right. When you are finished your punch should look like a nice strong glass of Iced tea.  (normally that is how I mix it by color and not measurements)  It always turns out great and is definitely a crowd pleaser. I hope you like it!

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award. I can’t wait to see the answers to the questions I have to ask you. Have a Great Holiday Season. This punch looks like it would taste yummy. I may have to try it.
