Still Stuff Happening

I have roses putting on their last big flush of blooms before the cold comes. . .

We have been blessed with some gorgeous beautiful days lately. Sometimes it can still be really hot during October and even November down here in Texas. Thankfully it has been cool in the evenings and pleasantly warm in the days. Time for me to come out of my gardening stupor and get busy.
There is so much to do in the fall season. I have to get that grass pulled out of my flower beds one more time. Time to thin anything overgrown and time to move anything that needs to be moved. Time to put down corn gluten to keep those winter weeds from germinating. It is also time to get my pens and chicken coop cleaned and fresh straw spread around ready for the cold winter days that are coming.

My aviary building also needs some attention. Cleaning to do and a new roof. There are so many other little chores that need to be done. My houseplants need to be treated for bugs and washed down and watered so they can be moved inside. Every where I look there is work to be done.

No more time for the gardening blahs . . .
Until next time.

Love your header. I'm kinda ready for the change in the seasons. It's been an awfully hot summer. I have worked on my gardens and probably are finished till Jan. We need rain so bad.

Hi your roses look wondeful... I am glad your summer blahs are lifting.... I do have to laugh though, about your kitties (those blue eyes are amazing), I have a pack of pups and wonder why they can't do the low stuff like weeding and mopping... only seems fair:-))
Thanks for stopping by!

Your roses are still gorgeous. Our weather is getting cooler and the roses are waning. Just a few, but I am enjoying them before they are no more until next year.
