It is summertime here in Texas. You know what that means don't you?
There are lots of good fruit to eat . . .
And more good fruit to make into yummy jams and jellies. . .
This is a batch of plum jam. Yummmm . . .
It gets a bit steamy when making jam because of the boiling pot but oh how good it will be to eat a little bit of summertime this winter.
The side benefit is that the jars are so pretty when full of jam that I leave them out on the counter for a bit just to enjoy their beauty. I am headed outside right now to see if my peaches are ready. Oh how pretty the peach jam will look on my counter.
