Giveaway Time!

I am feeling so much better! I am rested and still resting. The birds are singing, the gentle spring rains are coming and watering our land. The weather has been that kind of exciting, surprising, glorious spring weather where you never know what you are going to get!
Because I feel so good I have decided to spread the joy. I have decided to host a giveaway this week. I found this beautiful ceramic cake plate that I just knew all of you would love.

I love all the cutouts and especially the color.

I can just see a beautiful cake on it or cupcakes or even a beautiful item that needs importance or lift given to it as a showcase. Cake plates are wonderful items that can be used in so many ways in the kitchen as well as in decorating. It could even be used in the garden.

I am also adding with the cake plate these two metal signs. They too can be used in several ways throughout the house and garden.

I am wondering . . .
Do you have any cool ideas for using these?
If you would like to enter the giveaway just leave a comment and tell us any cool ideas you have for them. Don't worry, if you can't think of anything just leave a comment and you will still be entered. I am excited to hear those amazing ideas and to hear from some amazing people. I am ready to get back to our beautiful blog community so don't be surprised if I visit you this week! I have missed you so much and I am so ready to catch up on all of you! Be sure to enter. The winner will be drawn on Monday, March 23rd. Be sure to visit my other blogs. I am having a giveaway on one of them and am gathering things for the others to giveaway very very soon. Hope to see you there too!
Until next time!

Hi Miss Daisy,

I use my cake plates as perfect places for three or four small items that make a pretty vignette. Two small pretties in the front, one medium and one tall item in the back.

I also use mine to display the new crown I just made.

Check out my blog post "Marie Antoinette Crown". It is sitting on one of these pretty cake plates covered with lace.

Make sure to drop by on Saturday, I'm have a huge Give-away.

xo Cathy

I would love to be entered in your drawing - The cake plate would look wonderful holding - an EASTER cake! But also as part of a vignette, with the little signs - I can see tulips in a vase nearby...or daffy dillies wrapped in lace - oh, so MANY things! Have a great day, and welcome back!

Hi Debbie. I'm so happy to hear you are feeling better. I'm not sure where I found your blog, but the name caught my attention and I came here a few months ago when you said you were taking a break because of health issues. So glad you are back.
I would love to be entered in your giveaway. I would use the cake plate to put my large cupcake cake on for Easter Dinner. I have two of the small signs you featured above, but mine say: Daydream and Inspire. I have them in my powder room. One is displayed with some plates and mirrors on the wall and the other on a shelf over the toilet. I would love to have your two to display there also. Your blog is so sweet. I would love for you to visit me sometime. I have only been at this since last Oct., but it has been fun meeting new people.

Oh Debbie pedestal cake plates are awesome and this one is to die for!! I use them all the time to display cute little vignettes on. Stack a few on top of each other for a cup cake tower. I also love cloches or belljars and they look great on a pedestal plate. Have one in my bathroom with pretty perfume bottles- one in china cabinet with little child size dishes displayed. Geez maybe I shouldn't be telling you all the ones I have as I would love to have this one!! Never can have too many pedestal cake plates!

I found your blog yesterday. It is a great find. I like pedestal cake plates stacked on top of each other. They make great display pieces. I have one that would just match the giveaway plate! I also make potpourri cakes .One would be lovey on that cake plate.
