Hello to all my gardening friends! I am feeling so much better. The weather is fast approaching time when we will all be very busy in our gardens. It is time to trim, and weed, and dig, and plant and all those other garden chores that come in the spring. Down here in Texas it is almost too late to get out your pre-emergent so if you haven't done that yet; hurry.
Sometimes I wonder if it is really working because I still have so many weeds. I wonder until I take a little drive around and see yards that are covered in weeds.
I have decided to share my joy in feeling so much better with all of you and host a giveaway. I have decided to give to the winner a beautiful Soft cover garden book that is full of beautiful color pictures, and ideas, and instructions on garden projects.
I am also adding with that, a really cool light set that is made to be used under an outdoor umbrella. I found this really cool set from Target and thought you would enjoy it. I know how hard it can be for gardeners to sit back and relax in your garden. If you are like me you spot some little thing that needs doing and before long you are up to your elbows in more garden work. When it is dark outside it is easier for me to relax. These little twinkle lights can help you enjoy your garden at night too. Be sure to plant lots of pale color flowers and plants especially if they are white. That way you can see them glimmer under the moon. I also like to plant fragrant plants near my sitting areas so that I can enjoy their scent in the warm balmy evenings outside. If you would like a chance to win these items just leave a comment and you will be entered into the giveaway. Be sure to check my other blogs because I am already hosting a giveaway on one of them and am working on gathering goodies to host giveaways on each of the others! Hope to see you there. Don't be surprised if I pop in and visit you this week. I have missed all of you so much and I am so ready to catch up on all that I missed while I was recovering. I will draw for the winner on Monday, March 23rd.
Until Next time!
