Last Fall Fling

I took a little walk through my garden the other day before our first frost and I am so glad. My garden had so many beautiful sights to offer. My roses were showing their last beautiful splendor of the season . . .

My trees were just beginning to show theirs . . .

There was almost a dreamy quality to that evening as I walked . . .

My kitty babette' joined me on this walk . . .

After a little peek in the house that is . . .

My mums are at their most gorgeous . . .

Sahara decided to join in our walk too . . .

Along the way we saw Simba playing in the grass . . .

Bootsie was enjoying a nice spot in the shade . . .

As you can see I enjoy my kitties. I always have 14 or so around the house.

This is TJ. He is one of my older kitties.

Along the way I stopped by one of my favorite trees. I just love the way the bark curls off this tree. I never have to mulch my garden around this tree.

I love the pink edges on the petals of this beautiful rose.

This Knockout rose was a gift from one of my daughters. It always makes me smile.

This is one of our local vines that can be a bit of a weed but I like it so sometimes I let it have a spot. (shhhhhhh don't tell the other gardeners here in Seymour)

This is one of my holly trees. I have several varieties and this is my favorite.

Hope you enjoyed our little walk.

Until Next time
Debbie

Hi Debbie, Oh what an enjoyable time walking in your garden. The fall colors are gorgeous while still seeing a bit of the summer blooms too. My Holly's are full of berries too. Just in time for Christmas.
Your kitties are darling. What pretty expressions they all have.
I love your knock out roses too from your daughter. They are doing so good since the heat is off some. Mine are blooming gorgeous as well and I see then outside by studio window.

Thank you for stopping by to visit. You can come over and play in the glitter anytime.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Your tour through your garden looks lovely. Thank you for sharing that- I too am a Texan and down in South Texas it is hard to keep things in the yard looking good.

Hi Debbie,
Just wanted to stop by and thank you for comming by both of my blogs. You asked if I lived near the Redwoods. No, we live in southern California about 650 miles from those beautiful trees in the northern part of our state. That's where Ferndale is.
Anyway, I love your photos and have signed up to follow your blog.
You left some nice comments about my photoblog. If you'd like to see more of my photos, go to my KaysWay blog and check my links to my Fotki.com and Webshots.com photosharing sites.
Thanks for stopping by and keep in touch.
