Are You Thirsty?

Water is an essential item to life. Without it we cannot survive. As I have moved into my middle 40's I have noticed how easy it is to avoid it. I really like drinking Coke and so I have to be very careful to get enough water in my life. . .

Water just cannot be replaced with another drink if we want to remain healthy. Water is also essential to beauty. If you are drinking too many other drinks then, according to Natural Skin Care Secrets, you could possibly be in a mild state of dehydration. In this case your skin will look more sallow and lifeless, your eyes will not be as clear and bright and there are a whole list of symptoms that can occur as a result of dehydration such as tiredness, head rushes, headaches, and many other symptoms. When we drink enough water it allows our body to flush the toxins out of the body and it causes our skin to be clearer and the texture to be improved. It even helps with weight loss and God knows I need help with that. It also helps with the cooling of our bodies. If you are struggling with hot flashes make sure you are not just needing some water before you blame those hormones. It is important to remember that just moisturizing your skin from the outside is not enough. We must help our skin and all the rest of our body by drinking at least 64 oz of water daily. It is important to keep balance in this. It is not okay to over drink water either. You can drink too much. There is a point where drinking too much water too fast can even cause death. So, how do I make sure I get the right amount of water? I personally like to drink some water before I allow myself to drink that Coke that I so love to have first thing in the morning. I have found that If I drink water between my meals and then only drink the sweet drinks with my meal it also helps to cut down on how many calories I drink (that is always a good thing for me). I have also discovered that when I drink more water in the day rather than just coke, then I have lots more energy and I just feel better. Feeling better, looking better, and being better are definitely good things that drinking the right amount of water can bring into our lives. Give it a try.

Hi Debbie,
I have problems with dehydration, I need to hydrate my skin all day long (face, lips and hands), especially during the cold months. I have to use cream on my feet too each and every night.
I also had the opposed problem, as you mentioned, it happened I drank too much water, and I swelled enormously... so I needed to reduce my daily amout of water, and I am OK now.
Thank you for your nice comments on my blog!
Have a great evening,
Monica.
