It was a normal day, I needed to check my mouth out in the mirror (can't remember why). I looked in the mirror, opened my mouth & I stopped because what I saw was yellow old people teeth! I do not know how this could have happened to me. I always brush my teeth with whitening toothpaste on a regular basis. I use a whitening mouthwash. I even floss & use a pick. So what is the deal? After talking with my sister in law (she's a dental assistant) I find out that it is natural for our teeth to get darker as we age, especially if you like to drink Coke like I do. Well I don't mind being old I just don't want to look old. You know? I began to try out all different kinds of bleaching kits & I liked the Crest Premium White Strips the best but how to keep them whiter?
Remember that Testube full of goodies that I wrote about in an earlier post? In one of those tubes I received a 1.75 oz. tube of SuperSmile Toothpaste (with Fluoride ® CALPROX®) This is the best toothpaste that I have ever used. It makes my teeth feel smooth as a pearl. ( like you just got your teeth cleaned at the dentist) What really makes this toothpaste unusual is that it works on porcelain veneers & crowns. It helps them to last much longer & is prescribed by many dentists for just that purpose. All I know is that my teeth feel wonderful. The only down side that I found is the price. A large 4.75 oz. tube is $21.00 and a small 1.75 oz. tube is $13.00. Now personally when I weigh it out: it is supposed to clean my teeth of stains, whiten my teeth, polishes them smooth and it has fluoride which is essential for teeth then it doesn't seem like quite so much a stretch for me if it really will keep my teeth whiter. (my regular toothpaste was certainly not doing that.) I like this so well that I think I will try some of their other products. You can order these products from their website by clicking the name above.
